a) Hosting and server log files

Our website is hosted by our hosting provider Manitu GmbH (manitu.de). Every time our website is accessed, information is automatically collected by our hosting provider’s server for technical reasons and stored in so-called server log files. These are

Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer

This data is processed to ensure a smooth connection setup and convenient use of the website, to analyse system security and stability and for other administrative purposes. The IP addresses are stored by our hoster for a maximum of seven days to detect and defend against attacks and then anonymised.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes for data collection listed above. We do not use the data to draw conclusions about your person.

b) Cookies

This website only uses technically necessary cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device.

Technically necessary cookies are required for the basic operation of the website. For example, they can be used for the correct display of the page or for language settings. As these cookies are essential for the operation of the site, you cannot deactivate them.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

The data you send to us by email will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing if there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation.

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: In the event of infringements of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.
